Ciervos 

En los ciervos el cerebro está situado en la parte alta de la cabeza. Sin embargo, al disparar a un ciervo se debe recordar que la cornamenta no es igual a los cuernos de los bovinos. El punto ideal de penetración es el centro de la frente, en el punto de cruce de dos líneas imaginarias dibujadas desde la mitad de cada ojo a la parte superior de las orejas opuestas (Figura 7). En los venados, este punto se encuentra entre la cornamenta. Al igual que con los bovinos, el ángulo del disparo se debería dirigir a través del bulbo raquídeo (Figura 8).
