All attendees from outside Croatia are responsible for making sure they have the correct documentation to enter the country. Before you travel, please consult the Croatian Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs website and follow the advice given.
Most travellers whose nationality is of a Schengen Area Member State will not require a visa to enter. UK and Irish nationals also do not need visas.
If you are of another nationality, you will need to establish whether you need a visa. Click on your country in the drop down menu at the bottom of the Croatian Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs website. This will direct you to further guidance, which you should read very closely.
If you are uncertain, please consult the Croatian Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs directly via the contact details given on its website, or the Croatian Embassy in your country.
Applications for visas and other travel documents may need to be supported with an official letter confirming that the symposium will take place on the dates declared and/or that you are a contributor. This can be provided by HSA on request, please email: info@hsa.org.uk. Please note such letters in support of a visa will only be issued to persons who have submitted an abstract to the meeting and have had it accepted and who have also paid the registration fee to attend.
