Membership terms and conditions are described in the HSA Articles of Constitution available from the HSA Secretary.

Please note that the HSA Trustees may terminate the membership of any organisation whose continued membership would in the reasonable view of the Trustees be harmful to the Association.

HSA Objects

The Objects of the HSA are:

The promotion of humane methods of slaughter;
The introduction of reforms in livestock markets (including transport facilities) where needed to prevent the suffering of animals.
