You can help by making your money worth 25% more to us.

I confirm I have paid or will pay an amount of Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax for the current tax year (6 April to 5 April) that is at least equal to the amount of tax that all the charities that I donate to will reclaim on my gifts for the current tax year. I understand that other taxes such as VAT and Council Tax do not qualify. I understand the charity will reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 that I have given.

Using and sharing your information

The data collected above will be held and processed by the HSA for the purposes of informing you of the HSA’s technical, research and educational activities including grant funding opportunities, scientific symposia and meetings and regarding membership and support of the charity. Consent to receive mailings will be renewed after 7 years, however, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.

Your information will be stored and processed in accordance with current UK data protection legislation. We will respect your privacy and never share your details with a third party or organisation for marketing purposes. You have the right to request, rectify and erase your data, and to make a complaint to the supervisory authority (Information Commissioner’s Office). When you have completed your donation you will be returned to the HSA website where you can continue browsing, make or complete purchases.

Fundraising in aid of HSA

HSA is always extremely grateful for donations we receive from members and supporters, whether these are as a result of an individual gift or an independent fundraising event. Without such support, we would not be able to do the work we do to benefit animal welfare. However, please note that if you are holding a fundraising event the charity cannot accept any responsibility or liability for any activity held in aid of HSA. Similarly, if you are entering into contractual arrangements as part of your fundraising efforts, you are personally responsible for those agreements and cannot act as a representative of the charity or sign anything in our name.
